Please join Fluor Idaho and DOE Idaho at our Safety Culture Workshop

October 22, 23 & 24 in Idaho Falls, Idaho (Registration Closed)

The Department of Energy (DOE) and its contractors recognize that it is important for all organizations to establish and maintain a positive culture that is at the core of excellent performance. Safety culture is the organizational DNA in our day-to-day work.

The DOE approach to safety culture is practicing the attributes in Attachment 10 of DOE Guide 450.4-1C, Integrated Safety Management System Guide, that focuses on improving our leadership, employee engagement, and organizational learning to ultimately achieve excellence in both safety and mission performance.

The goal of the Safety Culture Workshop is to have the participants identify ways to collaborate across the DOE complex and to promote consistency in implementation which will better enable participants to achieve safety culture excellence in their work areas.  This workshop is open to all DOE sites (federal employees and federal contractors).

Is your safety culture on the road to greatness? The workshop brings together DOE contractors and field offices to facilitate collaboration and drive continual improvement in safety culture. It includes discussion panels, breakout sessions, and interactive workshops to give participants the tools needed to achieve Safety Culture Excellence.
